Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
